Dani was diagnosed with complex partial seizures when she was 15. After years of testing medication after medication, she decided to undergo the laser thermal ablation surgery in 2015. During that period, she quit work and became a blogger passionate about spreading the word about aspects of epilepsy that people may not know about. The focus of the blog was about not being able to drive and the funny stories that come with using ride-share services and public transportation.
Dani has a B.A. in English and a B.A. in Communications from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She took her degrees and started her own business where she helps entrepreneurs maintain their social media platforms and data.
While being a digital marketing specialist is her priority, she also enjoys creative writing. Dani has written a wide array of short stories, personal essays, and poems. Currently, she working on her first novel about her surgery and the insurance issues she had to face while dealing with it.
